Our Suncoast Roots

As a Sarasota, FL native, sunshine, saltwater, and sandy toes have always been a way of life. From beach days and afternoons by the pool to sunset boat rides and waterfront dinners, the Suncoast isn't just where I'm from—it's a lifestyle I love.

And when I became a boy mom, I quickly realized one thing: boys deserve better clothes!

I wanted to dress my son in pieces that reflected my own personal style—effortless, modern, timeless, and just the right amount of coastal cool. Think European summers meet laid-back Florida living. Less neon, cartoon characters, and oversized board shorts. More classic prints, beautiful neutrals, tailored fits, and pieces that look just as good at lunch by the water as they do jumping into the pool.

But finding that perfect balance of style, comfort, and quality? Nearly impossible.

So, I decided to create it myself.

The Beginning of Sun Kids Co.

And just like that, Sun Kids Co. was born.

Well... not exactly just like that.

What started as a simple idea turned into two years of researching manufacturers, sourcing fabrics, perfecting fits, and putting countless samples to the test—with my son and a few trusted little beach buddies as my very opinionated product testers.

Every detail mattered. From the length of our swim trunks to the softness of our fabrics and the comfort of our liners, I wanted pieces that were as practical for active little boys as they were stylish.

Because looking cute shouldn't mean sacrificing comfort. And being a boy shouldn't mean settling for boring clothes.

For Wherever the Sunshine Takes You

Today, Sun Kids Co. is my little passion project, inspired by the place I call home and the boy who started it all. Each collection is a reflection of my personal aesthetic and my love for easy, elevated coastal living.

We're here for the beach boys, the boat boys, the sandy-toed adventurers, and the little gentlemen who clean up nicely for dinner.
